William Bonaparte
As Chief Operating Officer, William spearheads the technology business strategy, planning, and solutions for the continuous growth of Cooperton.
William is a seasoned Information Technology Leader with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare insurance, IT consulting, banking, and transaction processing industries. William holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.
Cybersecurity Director
Omar Sánchez Nazario
Mr. Sánchez holds a Bachelor’s and an MS in Computer Sciences from Georgia Tech and is a USMC veteran. He has consulted for companies such as HPE, IBM, and Oracle. His past experiences include serving as a vCISO for Metro Pavia Hospital, Sistema de Salud Episcopal San Lucas, Bella Vista Hospital, San Jorge Children and Women’s Hospital, Migrant Health Center, and as a Cybersecurity Advisor for the Caribbean Medical Center.
As a member of our Incident Response Task Force, Mr. Sánchez has responded to real-world cybersecurity attacks and served as a security incident compromise auditor for numerous cases, including both local and state-side ransomware attacks.
His unique experiences are invaluable, enhancing Cooperton’s ability to meet our clients’ needs and, most importantly, to understand how to prevent cybersecurity incidents.
Program Manager and Team Leader
Gabriela Roman
Gabriela Roman, an adept Program Manager and Team Leader, holds prestigious certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Her background as a PM consultant in the healthcare industry and expertise in process optimization mark her as a distinguished professional in her field.
Her career is characterized by involvement in developing and managing transformative projects that significantly improved operational systems across various government agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Psychology, supplemented by a specialized diploma in Management Skills. Gabriela is currently enhancing her skillset by completing her IBM Data Analytics Professional Certification.
Gabriela’s leadership role includes overseeing a dynamic team of Project Managers committed to delivering excellence to our customers.

With a rich career spanning over three decades, Mr. Gil Horta brings invaluable expertise to the realms of IT, banking, transaction processing, and healthcare sectors. As a Program Manager and Team Leader, he exemplifies exceptional leadership in managing and steering project deliveries to meet the demanding standards of quality and service our clients expect. He strategically oversees and guides a dynamic team of Project Managers dedicated to serving our clientele.
Academically, he is grounded with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, equipping him with a solid foundation in his field.
